2022 Clio Awards Gold: #SaveItSeeIt

During 2021, Michelob Ultra teamed up with GUT Miami to produce a social media campaign focused on starting a movement to go hit SAVE on women athletes’ posts to give them more visibility. Because when they get more visibility, they get more opportunities. And when they get more opportunities, we’re all one step closer to equality in sports. The majority of the Stills imagery produced for social media came from the lens of Eley which included imagery of Track and Field Star Cece Telfar, journalist Brande Victorian (formerly of Essence Magazine), and ESPN Analyst/TV Talent Andraya Carter. With an entire production group of BIPOC creative talent, Eley made sure to highlight the incredible on camera talent, use their incredible strength and personality, and created dynamic portraits for the campaign. This campaign won the 2022 Clio Awards Gold for the Integrated medium campaign featuring the imagery produced and released on social media that included the portraits created by Eley.

"Michelob ULTRA is proud to be a longtime partner of female athletes and organizations, and as a leader in both the beer and sports marketing industries, there's so much more we can do to help support equal pay when it comes to women's sports. We need to set the example, and the time for equality has always been now. Our commitment demonstrates Michelob ULTRA's core belief that female athletes deserve an equal experience, whether they're on the court, in the newsroom or on our TV screens."
