The Making Of: Invisible To Others goes to Hampton History Museum in VA

What does it mean to perceive the world beyond sight?
Join me for The Making of: Invisible to Others, a 30-day exhibition at Hampton History Museum exploring the research, relationships, and creative process behind a body of work that has evolved over the past twelve years alongside members of the visually impaired community.
Rather than presenting a finished conclusion, this exhibition invites you behind the scenes—through photography, audio, Braille, embossing, tactile studies, and experimental materials—to explore how art can become more accessible, inclusive, and deeply human.
Artist Talk
Come hear the stories, questions, and unexpected moments that shaped this work, followed by a community conversation about perception, accessibility, and how we can continue reimagining the gallery-going experience together.
This work isn’t just about blindness.
It’s about perception.
It’s about consideration.
I hope you’ll join us.
